To the contest are admitted only those enrolled in the Italian Federation of Cooks, included in the lists of the National Province associations, or in the ones of the Foreign Delegations, the professionals of Catering and the amateurs of carving. All the foreign colleagues adhering to associations recognized by WACS, and all the professional persons who love the art of vegetables Carving. For what the A and B categories, there in no age limit, while for the C category may participate all the competitors who, at the moment of the inscription, are not yet over 23 tears old. To the 3rd Carved Vegetables contest are admitted all those who will be under the rules for inscription, who have respected the terms and modes dictated by the rules. The event will take place independently of the weather situation, in the case of absence of the participant 50% of the dues will be refunded. For all participants to the competition, the work to be produced must not be over 1.2 meters in height and the width must not be over 1.5 meters per side. The contest will be held in the Piazza dei Signori [Square of the Lords] in Treviso, where the tables to exhibit the works of the competitors, of all categories, with their post already assigned when they are accredited. For categories A and C the work-tables will be assigned under the Loggia dei Trecento [Open gallery of the Three Hundred], or in another covered location; at the end of the foreseen time the work will be exposed outside. The Association of the Cooks of Treviso, if it will deem it useful, will use the event’s photographic material without any restriction on part of the competitors. The jury’s decision is unappealable. All participants must wear the complete uniform, both during the works and for the official photograph (hat, white jacket, black trousers, black shoes), under penalty of non-inclusion in the official photograph. The Association of the Cooks of Treviso declines all responsibility, to the single participant, for possible damage to things and persons not directly linked to the Organization. At the moment of registration, all the participants will be required to sign the acquittance about personal data.
