It is organized by the Treviso Association of Chefs with the co-operation of the Veneto Region Chefs Union and under the aegis of the Italian Federation of Chefs.
In the territory, the competition is made possible thanks to the aegis of the Institutions, the Boards, Consortiums and sponsoring companies.

- To stimulate chefs to promote their imagination.
- To train catering operators to harmony of shapes and
colours.
- To exploit food products presenting them in an alternative
fashion.
- To suggest that besides the good to eat, there also is a
beautiful to look at.
- To promote a new profession for the future, the vegetable
carver.
